| ABOUT
SOCCERZONE MULTI-SPORT® COMPLEX |
SoccerZone
was born out of the perception that soccer players
were lacking quality facilities to play their favorite
sport. The first SoccerZone, then known as West Michigan
Soccer Club, was established in 1990 in Portage,
Michigan, by Mike Garrett, a former professional
soccer player.
After
four years as West Michigan Soccer Club, the privately
owned company changed its name to SoccerZone and
expanded into other markets. It has grown to be the
largest developer and operator of indoor soccer facilities
in the nation. There are now six multiple field locations
in Michigan and Indiana:
In
2006, an additional facility in Oshtemo, Michigan,
was opened. This location was designed to offer a fourth
field and a smaller training field to the growing Kalamazoo
area market. SoccerZone has over 3 million patrons
per year.
SoccerZone
has expanded its programming and is now known as a
Multi-Sport® Complex. The facilities offer leagues
and instructional programs in indoor soccer, inline
hockey, flag football and lacrosse. SoccerZone has
had the opportunity to be flexible and identify the
ever growing needs of indoor facilities for other sports.
SoccerZone offers programs for youth 3 years and older
through adults.
SoccerZone
facilities also have Back
of the Net® retail outlets that offer both
name brand soccer equipment and apparel, as well as
team uniforms for local soccer clubs.

| MULTI-SPORT® TILE
AND TURF SYSTEMS |
When
SoccerZone was started in 1990, it was built from
the ground up with the sole purpose of providing
soccer players with high-caliber fields, complete
with top-quality dasher boards, glass, netting and
artificial turf and Multi-Sport® Tile flooring.
Multi-Sport® Tile
flooring was developed by Mike Garrett for inline
hockey and other activities. The floor fits over
the turf and serves as a hard surface for playing
or meetings.
